It's fully mobile — you never visit a shop. Once you book, we agree a pickup slot, our luthier comes to your door anywhere in London to collect your guitar, and we return it to the same address once the setup is complete. Both the collection and the delivery are included in the £65, with no separate call-out charge.

We work Monday to Saturday, 9am–6pm, and book pickups in roughly two-hour windows so you're not waiting around all day. When you book we'll confirm a slot that suits you, and we'll message you ahead of arrival so you know exactly when to expect us.

Yes. We keep Saturday slots open and can usually arrange early-evening pickups for people who work standard hours. Just let us know your preference when booking and we'll do our best to fit around you.

Someone needs to hand the guitar over and receive it back, so yes — you (or anyone you nominate, like a partner, flatmate, or building concierge) should be present at both ends. If your plans change, just give us a heads-up and we'll reschedule.

We usually recommend booking a day or two ahead to get your preferred window, though same-week and next-day slots are often available. Get in touch and we'll tell you the earliest pickup we can offer.

Always. Your instrument is handled by the luthier, transported securely and carefully, and is covered while it's in our care. We treat every guitar — from a first acoustic to a vintage electric — as if it were our own.

No. The £65 is fixed wherever you are in London — pickup and delivery are always included. You won't pay more for being further from the centre, and there are no zone-based surcharges.

Our standard service is London-wide. If you're just outside the M25 or in the commuter belt, get in touch — we can sometimes accommodate nearby areas, and we'll always be upfront about whether it's possible and whether any travel applies before you commit.

Yes — a premium string change is part of every £65 setup at no extra cost. A proper setup is dialled in around fresh strings, so we fit a new set as standard rather than charging for it separately.

Absolutely. If you have a preferred brand, gauge or tuning, tell us when you book and we'll set the guitar up around it. You're welcome to provide your own strings, or we'll fit a quality standard set if you'd rather leave it to us.

None. £65 is the fixed, all-in price for a setup including collection and return. The only time the cost changes is if your guitar needs repair work beyond a setup — and that's only ever done after we've quoted you and you've approved it.

You pay once the work is agreed — there's no charge to get a quote for extra repairs. We'll confirm accepted payment methods when you book; the £65 covers the full setup with no deposit games or surprise add-ons.

Plenty of guitars do, and that's no problem. Beyond setups we handle fret work, electronics and wiring issues, nut replacement, structural repairs, and more. If we spot something during the setup, we'll flag it rather than quietly working around it.

Transparently and always before any work begins. If your guitar needs repairs beyond the standard setup, we contact you with a clear quote for the additional work and only proceed once you've approved it. No surprise charges ever appear on the final bill.

Never. The £65 setup is the £65 setup. Any repair beyond that is quoted and approved by you in advance, so you're always in control of what's done and what it costs.

We guarantee a 3–4 day turnaround from pickup to delivery, including weekends for scheduling flexibility. If additional repairs are approved, we'll let you know if they affect the timeline before starting.
