Fretwork London is Otto — not a workshop of rotating staff. Alongside everyday setups and repairs, he specialises in high-value vintage restoration, period-correct nitrocellulose finishing and hand-carved archtop building. You hand your instrument to an experienced luthier and get it back playing better than ever, on a fixed price with nothing hidden.
Every collection, setup and return is done by Otto personally. 500+ London guitars set up by the same trained hands, from battered first acoustics to vintage Gibsons and Fenders.
Otto specialises in renovating high-value vintage guitars, including vintage-appropriate nitrocellulose paint finishing — meticulous, era-faithful work that most technicians won't take on.
Otto builds and repairs hand-carved archtop guitars — a time-consuming, highly specialised skill few luthiers in the country still practise.
Live with the setup. If the action, intonation or feel is off, Otto collects it and re-does the work at no charge. Free follow-up support comes as standard.
The setup is £65, full stop. Anything beyond it is priced and approved by you before a single tool touches your guitar — nothing extra ever appears on your bill.
