If you are unsure what to bring or how the visit will work, ask when arranging the appointment. The consultation is free; setup and repair work have their own agreed prices.

Prefer collection and return?

If bringing your guitar to Denmark Street is inconvenient, ask about personal collection and return from your Camden postcode.

Transport is separate from the work price. Send your postcode and guitar details so we can check the route and availability, then quote the two-way fee before you agree to a booking.

There is no need to work out your transport charge from a neighbourhood list. We confirm the arrangements for your actual postcode. Collection is not automatically included in the £85 setup price.

Know the work price before you agree

A standard six-string setup is £85, including agreed standard strings. A bass setup is £95. A locking-tremolo or 12-string setup is £105.

Tell us about your instrument and the strings you want to use so we can confirm the right setup and its scope. Premium strings, additional parts and repair work are quoted separately before booking or starting extra work.

If your guitar needs more than a setup, we explain the additional work and its price before you agree to it. Expected timing is confirmed for the guitar and the work involved, rather than promised as a fixed turnaround for every instrument.

How do I arrange a Denmark Street appointment?

Is the consultation free?

Yes. A free consultation with Otto is available by appointment. Any setup or repair work is separate and agreed with you before it begins.

Is collection and return included in the setup price?

No. Personal collection and return has a separate two-way fee. Share your postcode so we can check availability and quote transport before booking.

What if I am not sure what my guitar needs?

Tell us what feels or sounds wrong. You can enquire without choosing a setup or repair in advance. Any additional work and parts are quoted before work starts.

How long will the work take?

We confirm expected timing for your guitar and the agreed work before booking. Extra work or parts may affect those arrangements.
